How Does Individual EAP Counseling Work?

Individual counseling by EAP has three pieces.

First, an initial phone conversation with the patient to learn about the size and shape of the problem.

Next, short term problem solving sessions with an EAP counselor.

Finally, for problems requiring long-term treatment, EAP helps connect clients to the right long-term care provider.
